Open Channels FM is excited to announce the addition of Channel 4 to its growing podcast network. Bob Dunn, host and creator, detailed the inspiration and creative journey behind this new channel in the latest episode of Open Channels FM.
As the network expanded, it became clear that not every episode fit within the existing channels: Open Web Conversations, Open Makers, and Do the Woo. Bob Dunn recognized the need for a flexible platform, where discussions could flourish outside traditional boundaries.
The decision to create Channel 4 was driven by months of reflection and note-taking, fueled by the desire to give hosts the freedom to explore new directions. Through collaborative brainstorming and conversations even late at night, Bob Dunn arrived at the concept and name for Channel 4. This channel is envisioned as an open space for honest interviews, fresh ideas, humor, and conversations that don’t fit under the established categories.
Channel 4 will empower hosts and guests to pull up a chair and talk about anything worth discussing, from business to technology and beyond. It reflects Open Channels FM’s commitment to fostering authentic, dynamic, and inclusive podcast content.
