The open web is only as strong as the conversations shaping it. Open Channels FM is a podcast network that exists to have those conversations, out loud, about where open source and the open web are headed. Along the way, we bring you the news and commentary that help make sense of it.
We’re here for anyone who cares about the open web, whether you’re deep in it or simply paying attention. We’re independently owned, which means nothing here is filtered through a corporate agenda. Just real conversation about keeping the web open, interoperable, and worth fighting for.
The History of Open Channels FM
What better way to tell our 8+ year story than to have our own changelog.
Our Mission
Open Channels FM exists to create thoughtful, honest conversations about open source and the open web, and to keep you informed along the way. We focus on signal over noise: the ideas, the people, and the thinking that matter. Our aim is conversations that stay meaningful long after they're published.
A Global Community of Voices
Just like the open web, Open Channels FM is a global community. You can see where our hosts, guests, supporters and sponsors come from in the map below.
