Many of you know Marcus as co-host of Woo BizChat and having filled in on several shows as well. Personally, I’ve known Marcus for sometime. And have valued not only his expertise but also his friendship.
Marcus hosted his first show on January 20, 2022 on Inside Woo. And he appeared as a guest on the episode, Moving From Agency to Supporting Businesses and Agencies with Marcus Burnette on August 19,2021.
Marcus has been a leader in the WordPress community and is always there for everyone. And he has given his time and talent to bring The WP World to the community as well.

Recently Marcus has made the transition from GoDaddy to Bluehost. I asked Marcus to share with you a bit about this:
Since joining GoDaddy via the SkyVerge acquisition in 2020, I moved around inside the organization a bit before landing on the GoDaddy Pro Field Marketing team. At the time, GoDaddy was getting ready to launch Managed WooCommerce Stores and I, as a member of the highly-respected SkyVerge support team, was able to bring my WooCommerce expertise to the field at WordPress events. This also led to my inclusion as a host here at Do the Woo ❤️
Four years later, I’ve had the chance to meet hundreds of amazing folks in the WordPress space and the opportunity came up for me to take my entire work history — over a decade as a developer at a small web agency, technical support for SkyVerge, hosting knowledge, and some clout in the WordPress community — and put it to good use helping Bluehost become the premiere option for agencies building client sites with WordPress.
As the Sr. Manager for Agency Strategy and Customer Experience, I’ll have the ability to influence both support and product teams at Bluehost to provide agencies all the tools needed to build and scale their clients’ WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
