Just around the corner, it’s launch time for Do the Woo 4.0.
Episode Transcript
BobWP: Yes, it’s here. Something that I talked about as far back as the beginning of last year. Yes, that’s right. Then in March I said it would be delayed. In that podcast I shared several ideas, some of which will never see the light and others, well, we will see.
I’m glad I delayed because since then we have had a lot of twists and turns.
So, what’s the point and where am I going with this about the coming week. As many of you know Do the Woo will have some solid representation at WordCamp Europe this week. And guess what? We are finally celebrating Do the Woo version 4.0. The official launch. We did a soft launch when we redesigned and migrated the site to WordPress.com which we shared in March. But we are ready to dig in and tell you all things Do the Woo as we kick it out into the wild in all of its glory.
Tomorrow you will hear the kick off for a new show we have. One that has been in the works for sometime and likely the rounding off of our show growth. And yes, I will give you a hint. Think Enterprise
This week you will also hear a conversation I had with Jay Walsh from WooCommerce about our impending launch. A casual conversation between us that led us in a few different directions.
On Thursday it’s launch day. And that’s all I’m going to say for that.
With that said, whether you are at WordCamp Europe or not, I hope you follow along. From all the shows and hosts you have listened to over the last few months as they have grown, you will get a better view of the big picture of what we are doing, and will be doing here at Do the Woo.
If you are on X, follow the hashtag DTW40 for specific posts and shares around our launch. And everywhere else we will be keeping you updated.
