Host(s): Robert Jacobi
Open Channels News is a short-form news program covering the open source world, hosted by Robert Jacobi. Five to ten minutes, focused on what’s happened in the last 24 to 48 hours across open source projects, businesses, and the ecosystem at large. It’s an open source news show — broad, fast, and built to keep you informed without telling you what to think. The goal is simple: give you the news so you can start the conversation. Streams live at noon Chicago time. Audio available the next day. Part of the Open Channels FM podcast network. Launches July 27, 2026.
Channel 4
Host(s): Bob Dunn and Nathan Wrigley
Channel 4 is where the real conversations happen. From candid chats with people who have something worth saying, to deep dives into the platforms, tools, and infrastructure that shape the open web. Wide-angle or close-up, it all connects back to open source and the people building it. It unfolds through a growing collection of series, each one a little different, none of them overproduced. A little humor, a lot of insights, and something worth your time. Because every podcast network needs a Channel 4.
