I am doing a short and special episode today as I want to reach out to you, our listeners, and would love to have you participate in a survey that my friends Siobhan McKeown and Francesca Marano from WP Includes have shared with the community.
To give you a good understanding about what they are doing and what, we as a community is asking, I will share a note from Siobhan
WP Includes, a mentorship scheme for women in WordPress businesses, has launched the Gender Equality in WordPress Businesses Survey, and would greatly appreciate your participation. Participation is encouraged and welcome from all genders.
The survey asks questions about the gender composition of leadership teams, the experiences of women and gender-diverse leaders and employees, and the challenges and barriers to their career success.
The survey results will inform the Gender Equality in WordPress Businesses 2024 report, set to be published later this year. The report will provide a snapshot of the current gender equality landscape in the WordPress business community and provide recommendations to help companies diversify their leadership teams.
All participation will be treated confidentially and you can choose to remain fully anonymous. No individuals or companies will be named in the report and data will be reported in aggregate.
Your participation will be greatly appreciated by the team and will help us to make improvements to equality in the WordPress business ecosystem for everyone.
Also, she added that they will share some of the initial findings during our WordCamp Europe talk, “Fixing the ladder: getting more women into leadership at WordPress businesses“.
