What I wanted to talk about real shortly or make an announcement on is first of all, we we’ve had WordPress event talk for quite some time, I think, although it didn’t fall under that because we broke that out as a show later on. But we were talking about events back in 2019. So we’ve talked about a lot of events. They’ve been Word Counts, meetups, other kinds of WordPress events, as well as events like CloudFest. I can’t even think right now, but there’s been a lot of them. We usually bring in, whether it’s the organizers telling us about what’s going to happen or perhaps we’ve also brought them in afterwards to hear out when. And we’ve also gotten a lot of attendees to give us feedback on their experience.
Well, we will continue those. We have Word Camp Europe coming up and just like this week is the Web Agency Summit. So yeah, trying to keep on top of those things. It’s always great to either bring in our host that we’ve had there, Devin. She’s done quite a few of those shows. We’ll continue to do some shows, but also we’ve had the organizers or the attendees be the guests and hosts and just have a conversation between themselves. But I thought it was about time to bring in a another host to the do the Woo team that might be able to do a few WordPress event talks.
And it didn’t take me long. Someone had been poking at me a little bit about being a host and I thought, well, who better than Michelle Frechette? Many of you know her. I don’t have to give you an introduction to her. One reason is we’ll soon be having a show with her. She’ll be talking a little bit more about coming on as a host and also something she’s up to and I just cannot remember all the stuff that Michelle does. So I’ll let her introduce herself when that time comes. But she’s been involved in the community for quite some time and heavily involved. She’s usually at a lot of the events and hopefully we will see her at WordCamp Europe, but you will be hearing her on WordPress event talk amongst all the other podcasts she’s doing.
So between the two of us, I think we’re doing like a billion podcasts or something. Anyway, I’m excited to have her on. She’s a natural for the spot for WordPress event talk, and I know you are probably looking forward to hearing her conversations across the board with some people and all the different events that are either directly related to WordPress or kind of the bigger picture.
