Episode Transcript

BobWP:
As we head into the second episode of Content Sparks, I just wanted to update you on some. Well, it’s exciting news. It’s exciting because now as I’m getting all the final pieces put in place, I have our three hosts lined up that will be joining me. So each month I will be on all shows. Yes, as I mentioned before, I’m coming back where you’ll see my face and hear my voice. And these three hosts join me once a month. They’ll share their experiences and some of our other hosts will actually come in and pop in and out on one off episodes. And so let me tell you who is coming on Content Sparks.

Robbie Adair. You know Robbie, she’s been on Woo Agency Chat for quite some time and than on several shows. We decided we’re going to talk about something that nobody else is talking about and that is content and AI. Well, yeah, I guess a few people are talking about that, but there will be no lack of content for us on that one. So join us each month and we’ll share experiences, what we’ve learned, maybe the things I’ve screwed up, and even share about some of the other stuff going on in the space from other people.

Now I’m adding two new hosts to the do the Woo team, which is always exciting. Rae Morey, you know her from the repository. That’s where you likely get a good chunk of your news. I know that I do drops in my inbox every Friday and she’s been doing a great job of covering the space. But we are going to talk about media now. We won’t be covering the news because hey, she does it on her side. There’s plenty of other places you can get news here and there. We’re going to focus more on maybe it’s how you work with media yourself, maybe specifically online media. What’s going on in the industry that might be of interest to you. And I’m sure that’s just couple examples as you never know where we will go with that topic.

And Derek Hansen, now Derek is a project manager for Automatic Special Projects team. He was there leading the way as we redid do the Woo the last time, the big change and he’s helped me a lot, continues to help me with strategies. I can bounce ideas off him and we thought let’s talk about content management. He has a ton of experience to bring to the table and I’m sure you’ll find plenty of takeaways through those episodes. Now there is a spot that kind of leads it to just me. I was thinking of calling it Inside View, but that sounds really, really boring. Probably there’s a lot of those out there. Anyway, what I want to talk about is what we do here at do the Woo with our content, how we manage it, how we create it, all the things I’ve learned, good and bad, a little bit behind the scenes and other times on that particular monthly episode, I’ll have another host join me for a one off topic.

So I’m looking forward to joining my hosts on all of these different episodes, talking practical stuff, article, our experiences, what we see others doing, and probably even some stuff beyond WordPress. Speaking of Sparks, I didn’t even say anything about Sparks, but I just thought I’d lead out with that. Yeah, do check out our sponsor kinsta.com they do have some solid hosting for you and your computer will not blow up. I appreciate you tuning in. If you want to subscribe to do the Woo, get everything you can go to do the Woo dot IO, forward, slash, subscribe or on any POD app. But you can also pick and choose.
