I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I will be heading to WordCampUS. In fact, I have been lucky enough to make every one of them since its inception in 2015 in Philadelphia. Wow, time does fly.
Hosts at WordCampUS
I cannot go without saying that a few of my co-hosts will be there as well which include Jonathan, Marcus, Brad, Robbie, Ronald, Till and Carl. Although they will be doing their own thing, in their hearts, they will be doing the Woo.
The podcast stuff
At WordCamp Europe I packed up a bunch of gear and ended up with 8 great shows that were recorded there, despite technical issues on the afternoon of the second day. But in retrospect, I ended up feeling like my tradition of massive socializing did not happen as I would have liked and that I traditionally spend my times as WordCamps doing. I don’t regret the great shows we put together, but I do regret not having the time for the conversations I had hoped for.
Between moving gear around, finding people and making sure all went well, I would rather forego that part this time around.
So at WordCampUS I will have my trusty Rode Go Pro handy, keeping me prepared for any spur of the moment episode I might record. And I’m sure I will end up with some fun tidbits here and there.
